Michael Calls out Government Duplicity on Pharmacy Cuts

Michael has written in the Yorkshire Post about the web of deceit that has emerged surrounding the Government’s plans to cut funding to community pharmacies.

The Government has been embroiled in a High Court case over the legality of their devastating proposed cuts to local community pharmacies.

And evidence that emerged during the trial shows shockingly duplicitous behaviour of the Government in public and private.

Despite public reassurances both in public and in the House of Commons itself over the motivations of the cuts and their view that no pharmacies would close as a result, private conversations and unpublished impact assessments show the Government knew full well closures would result, and indeed actively sought them.

Michael has called out the Government on these shocking revelations, and you can read his full article on Michael’s blog here.
