Proud of Barnsley Awards

PofB_2014.jpgMichael attended the Proud of Barnsley awards dinner on Friday 14 November. The ceremony, hosted by former Look North presenter Christa Ackroyd and Barnsleys own Stephanie Hirst, recognises and rewards the hard work and dedication of local people and groups in 13 categories. The Proud of Barnsley awards were launched by the Barnsley Chronicle two years ago to inspire all generations to contribute to the good of the town and its people and and and in his introductory speech Michael paid tribute to Barnsley's unsung heroes.
